Karuna Reiki: A More Intensive Form of Healing
Karuna Reiki can be defined as a progression of Usui Reiki. It is a type of Reiki that is based on the original Usui Reiki concepts, which has been enhanced considerably by Reiki Master William Lee Rand. Karuna Reiki is a modern addition to the ancient art of Reiki healing, which has been widely used since the mid-19th century.
How it began
William Lee Rand, the person behind Karuna Reiki, is an American Reiki Master who lived in Hawaii before transferring to Michigan. He discovered the concept as early as 1989, but didn’t officially give it a name until 1995. His new Reiki concept was soon referred to as the Karuna Reiki, which means the Reiki of Compassion.
The development of Karuna Reiki was actually an accident. William Lee Rand was a metaphysical student focusing on rebirthing and hypnosis, prior to receiving his first Usui Reiki training. He had been very interested in these subjects ever since he was 18 years old. His interest led him to become a Reiki Master in 1989. Around that time, he was given symbols that were not traditionally used in Reiki but were believed to have inherent energy.
He filed this information until he found the chance to introduce it to his students. Soon enough, his students tried the symbols in their respective healing techniques. The eight symbols were indeed very useful. They are brimming with powerful energy that can greatly help in healing other people, or be used for improving one’s self.
Karuna Reiki is regarded to be more powerful that Usui Reiki. As such, only a Reiki master is allowed to train in it. Karuna Reiki is deemed much stronger and can heal more deeply than Usui Reiki. However, Rand says that Karuna Reiki is never created to serve as a substitute for Usui Reiki. Instead, it is an additional technique that every Reiki Master can become an expert on.
Karuna Reiki as a Discipline
While deemed powerful by most, some Reiki masters think that this new system dilutes the purity of Usui Reiki, instead of enhancing it.
However, the avid followers of Karuna Reiki believe otherwise. For them, every healing technique, regardless of if it uses the ancient energy concept or modern medicine, needs to be developed and improved to catch up with the changing times.
Karuna Reiki is an evolution of Usui Reiki. With the stronger vibrations brought about by the new symbols used in it, the practice can generate a more superior healing power for Reiki practitioners and masters who are very dedicated to their craft. Usui and Karuna Reiki can even be used together for more effective healing results.
Karuna Reiki can be learned by every Reiki Master, regardless of his lineage. For as long as he is a certified Usui Reiki Master, he is welcome in the Karuna Reiki attunement training.
Aside from the regular Reiki techniques, Karuna Reiki also uses toning and chanting to channel energy from within, which is used to heal, improve, and develop yourself as well as those around you.
Sekhem-Seichim-Reiki (SSR) -
Sekhem (pronounced “Say-kem”) is an Egyptian word meaning power or might. Sekhem is also the Egyptian equivalent of the Indian term prana and the words chi and ki as used in the Orient to denote the all-encompassing essential force that binds the universe together and is present in all life. Sekhem is both all around us and in us.
Seichim (pronounced “Say-keem”) is living light energy as well as an ancient Egyptian system of healing wisdom.
Reiki (pronounced “Ray-key”) is a Japanese word meaning universal life force.
Reiki and Seichim are standalone healing systems that until recently have been taught and applied separately.
SSR is a healing matrix that is a unique integration of these three related, yet distinct, multidimensional energies. Sekhem, Seichim and Reiki work together as a unified trinity of sacred healing energies to completely balance and harmonize a person’s physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies. This expands the individual’s capacity to carry more light and love and anchors and grounds the essential life force within his or her energy system.
LIGHTARIAN REIKI -
Offers the most powerful, highest vibrational Reiki healing energies available!
The inspiration and development of Lightarian Reiki began in 1997 via connections with the highest energies of Master Buddha. His intentions were, and still are, to stimulate self-empowerment of the teacher by keeping the attunement and healing process simple…therefore, no new symbols are used in Lightarian Reiki. Through intention rather than symbols, the teacher is encouraged to more effectively access the highest vibrational energies of Master Buddha while also tapping into his/her own inner power (Higher Self connection). The simple techniques of Lightarian Reiki allow the teacher to deliver the highest available healing energies to clients and to provide powerful and effective trainings and attunements to students.
| The Vibrational Bands of ReikiFrom Ascended Master Buddha, we have learned that there are a total of eight vibrational bands for the Reiki energy spectrum, with Lightarian Reiki occupying the six highest bands…First Band… Usui-based Reiki These vibrational frequencies create the foundation for all Reiki energy work. After one is attuned to the Usui levels and works with those energies for awhile, an individual may feel compelled to move beyond this introductory stage….to accelerate his/her pace of spiritual growth and the raising of personal vibration.Second Band… Karuna Reiki® As the individual feels motivated to continue to expand within Reiki, one can enter the second band of the spectrum occupied by Karuna Reiki and the Lightarian Buddhic Boost (details below).
Third to Eighth Bands… Lightarian™ Reiki Beyond the second band, there are six additional higher bands of Reiki energy, called Lightarian Reiki, which offer the most powerful healing energies available from Master Buddha. The 4 Levels of Lightarian Reiki Training The six vibrational bands of Lightarian Reiki (Third to Eighth) have been organized through our effective teaching and attuning process into just four training levels. These four levels are called Lightarian Reiki I & II, III, IV and V & VI. * Level I & II: The majority of the principles of Lightarian Reiki are taught and your initial Lightarian attunement with Ascended Master Buddha is delivered at this level. This first training/attunement prepares you vibrationally to receive the attunements in the three higher levels. * Levels III, IV and V&VI: After receiving Lightarian Reiki I & II, the three advanced attunements progressively “step up” your energies into higher vibrational levels within the Reiki spectrum, connecting you into higher aspects of the Buddhic healing energies. Also, during each of the advanced attunements, an introduction and permanent connection is made with a different supportive celestial energy to enhance the healing process. These etheric beings have their energetic specialties and make unique contributions to the sessions. Training format for each of the 4 levels of Lightarian Reiki Each training level consists of two simple phases: (1) A thorough self-study of the Training Manual followed by a Question/Answer exchange with the Lightarian Reiki Teacher in-person, by telephone or via E-mail; and (2) the energetic Attunement itself – delivered in-person, by telephone or by remote. For Lightarian Reiki I & II, a comprehensive Training Manual is provided and a smaller, supplemental Training Manual is provided for each of the three follow-on levels. Waiting period between Attunements: For most individuals, a 30-day waiting period between the various Lightarian Reiki attunements is generally recommended. However, under certain circumstances, the timing can be accelerated. Upon completion of each level of Lightarian Reiki: A Master Teacher/Practitioner Certificate is provided to acknowledge your satisfactory completion of each level of the program. And, as a Practitioner, you are energetically prepared to immediately deliver healing energies to your clients and, as a Teacher, you are fully prepared to begin training and attuning your own students. |
| Prerequisites for taking Lightarian Reiki There are two prerequisites for taking Lightarian Reiki: First, you must be an Usui-based Reiki Master/Teacher.
